
The Lurkers play acoustic hillbilly punk about super-profits, civil disobedience and the post-post-feminist revolution. They were the winners of the 2013 Songs for Social Justice' Award, presented by the Alistair Hulett Memorial Fund for their song 'Mining Man', a protest song about Coal Seam Gas mining.
